Summary

Eddie Riggs is the main protagonist of Brutal Legend. He name derives from Iron Maiden's mascot, Eddie the Head, and the person who draws him, Derek Riggs. Eddie is the world's best Roadie, for the world's worst "Heavy Metal" band called Kabbage Boy. During one of their songs at their concert, one of the band members tries to climb on one of the stage props but falls, with Eddie diving to catch him. Soon after the prop falls on Eddie killing him. The blood that was spilled from Eddie get's absorbed by a creepy necklace Eddie is wearing. The necklace lights up and Ormagöden, the Heavy Metal demon appears. Ormagöden kills all the Kabbage Boy members and then transports Eddie to the mythical past world of Heavy Metal.
