Belphegor is a member of the Independent Vongola Assassination Group, Varia. Once a Prince at 8 years of age of an unnamed country, he stabbed his older Twin brother, Rasiel and was presumed dead. He is known as "Prince the Ripper" because of this event. However during the Future Arc it was revealed that Rasiel didn't die that day and is still alive and is one of the Fake Funeral Wreaths of the Millefiore Famiglia. Bel has a crescent shaped birthmark on the right of his stomach, likewise with Rasiel except his is on the left. He is remarked by others as a battle genius, however his true potential can only be reached when he sees someone of royal blood, reminding him of his twin brother. Whilst his eyes have never been showing, during and interview with Lussuria he says they are both "cool" and "royal".

• Knives and Wires: Belphegor uses Wires and Knives to confuse and attack his foes. By throwing these knives along wires it gives the impression he has control over the knives and can make then hover. While his foes concentrating on avoiding the knives, they are getting cut and ensnared by the wires.
• Visone Tempesta: (Storm Mink): This is Bel's Box Weapon. A Mink that can generate Storm Flames and can degenerate anything it touches. It can move at extremely high speeds and makes it a deadly weapon and almost impossible to dodge. It can create a shield of storm flames by rotating it's tail rapidly.
