Nami

Nami is Kushi's ancestor and they have a lot in common. Nami lived in Kamiki Village 100 years in the past and can only be met if you travel through the Spirit Gate. However she will run away from Amaterasu as she believes her to be a familiar of the Orochi.

She also shares other traits with Kushi. Like Kushi she is Kamiki's resident sake maker, this is probably where Kuchi got her skills from as it was passed down the family.
She also looks strikingly like Kushi and both of them have the same caring and kind personality. However Nami does not believe in the gods like Kushi and therefore cannot see Amaterasu's divine markings, this leads Nami to fear Ammy eve though she will save her life.
Nami is also Nagi's love interest. This is similar to Kushi as Kushi has caught Susano's eye. Susano being a descendant of Nagi.

Finally the most important trait the both of the share is that both of them where chosen as the Orochi's sacrifice and they had to put their trust in their foolish lovers.
However Nami does not make it to the Orochi's layer as Amaterasu steals her sacrificial gown while she is bathing. She then dresses Nagi up in it and sets him off to fight the Orochi. It is the brave work of Amaterasu, Nagi and Shiranui that allows Nami to spend the rest of her life happily with Nagi.
