Canine Warriors
From WikiGuides - Wiki on Neoseeker
The Satomi Canine Warriors are a pack of 8 dogs each with a different coloured bandana and a different Satomi orb. After you rescue Princess Fuse from the imps possessing her, she will ask you to recruit her canine warriors in order to defeat Crimson Helm. They have protected the Kusa Shrine and served in Satomi house for years, however they started to disband and scattered themselves throughout Nippon. Princess Fuse gives Amaterasu the Canine Tracker to find the warriors. 5 of the Satomi Canine Warriors are already in Kusa. Once you find the first four, they will say "Give me some food, I'm hungry", Issun pointing out that they have no manners, and will need a meat Feedbag in order to send them back to the Princess, unlike the remaining four, who will all demand Amaterasu fight them. After feeding each one you get 10+ Praise.

Canine Warrior Tei
The largest of the first five Canine Warriors you come across, with an orange bandana/orb. He is standing where Ammy finds Princess Fuse, snarling and growling. He tells Ammy that he wishes to try out the skills he has honed on his journey, saying "The princess forbids me from fighting fruitless battles" and states that he wants to see how good a match Amaterasu is for him, and challenge her. He has a powerful charge attack that will severely harm Amaterasu yet unlike the remaining Canine warriors, he does not drop explosive droppings or dig holes and fire projectiles. After he is defeated he will say that Amaterasu is worthy, yet he still does not think much of her. He tells Ammy and Issun that they will feel the wrath of the Satomi Power Orbs and walks away with the other Warriors. After his defeat Amaterasu bears the right to carry the Canine Tracker.
