[edit] Background

Brant Cox is a new addition to StarKid. His birthday is on October 10th, year c. 1987. His day job is working as an actor, including much improv acting, and aside from acting, he caters. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

The only role he portrayed in a StarKid production was Roach in Starship.

[edit] Personal Life

Brant grew up in Chicago and attended University of Michigan. He majored in musical theatre, placing him in a separate major than most of the other members of StarKid, but was able to meet them while they themselves lived in Los Angeles at one point.

As a child, he was big on soccer and a part of a traveling soccer club until a teenager. He auditioned for a part in a local The Sound of Music play and received the role of Kurt. He juggled between soccer and acting, eventually ridding soccer from his schedule and deciding on acting. Other future occupations he dreamed of becoming as a child were an architect, although he did not truly understand the concept of architecture, and an author.

Some of his favorite roles in a play include Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain in which he particularly enjoyed tap dancing in the rain, Tony in West Side Story, his favorite musical of all time, Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Peter in The Diary of Anne Frank, and Brad in Rocky Horror Picture Show.

He graduated U of M in 2009, the same year as Darren Criss, Lauren Lopez, Dylan Saunders, Joe Walker, Julia Albain, and Joe Moses.

[edit] StarKid

Brant wanted to be a part of StarKid since they started posting up shows on YouTube. He was a senior when they posted up A Very Potter Musical and naturally was happy when Brian Holden called him and asked him if he would like to play the role of Roach in Starship.

[edit] Physical Appearance

Brant is 6'0" and has blue eyes and dusty brown hair.
